berlin in a frame

Berlin in a frame creates and sells MISCHWERKE as commission works but also in a free artistic way.

A MISCHWERK develops from a photography with much attention to detail, an individually designed passepartout and a fabric-wrapped wooden frame.

Berlin in a frame's founder Elke Molkenthin works self-employed since her apprenticeship as a media designer and her studies of painting & photography in South Africa. Her roots are at the beautiful Lower Rhine region, but her heart also beats for Berlin.

Her research in libraries and places of interest, the expeditions with camera and pencil take her to places where life is, and also to the green oases surrounded by the congested urban areas.

A small selection of artworks can be discovered at "DAS SCHWARZE GLAS" Wine Shop & Seminars Jonasstr. 33, 12053 Berlin-Neukölln.

Sometimes you will also be able to find me on certain Berlin weekend markets and exhibition grounds. Please check under "preview" for the exact dates.

Through my homepage you will have access to view all my motives and also to order them.

Please contact me directly for individual compositions and commission work.

Have much fun exploring my world of pictures! Warm regards

Elke Molkenthin
